History

Olive & Anchor Supply Co. is a woman-owned company. The company was started out of a commitment to do something different and live boldly for Christ. I always wanted to start an apparel company but I asked myself, why not combine your love for the beach and Christ? Many of Christ's miracles were performed near and/or on the water. Water

Why Olive & Anchor?

Understanding and internalizing the truth of God's Word equips us to stand firm and grow in faith. The thing about an anchor is that anchors do not guarantee that a boat will not drift; however, they guarantee that you can never drift too far. Daily, we are distracted and consumed by things that may counter what the Word of God says. But the Word of God is freeing, moving your faith in the world to faith in the One who made the world.

An olive is a reminder that God's desire to provide was not left behind in the Old and New testaments. Like an earthly father, He cares about our needs. Fear constantly reminds us of what we have and what we do not have. But the Truth in God's word tells us that we have the world in God. We can fearlessly pursue what God has called us to do and/or where God has called us to be.

Birds

You will see birds in some of our designs because of Jesus Christ's instruction that we not worry. We are worth more than birds! Have you ever seen an unhappy bird?

Luke 12:22-32

"He said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens: they don’t sow, they don’t reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds! Which of you by being anxious can add a cubit to his height? If then you aren’t able to do even the least things, why are you anxious about the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if this is how God clothes the grass in the field, which today exists and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith? “Don’t seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious. For the nations of the world seek after all of these things, but your Father knows that you need these things. But seek God’s Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you. “Don’t be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom."
